You can now partially appreciate the beauty of HarmonyOS 2.0 on any smartphone: wallpapers of the new operating system appeared on the web

Those interested can download the archive, which presents several original wallpapers of the HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system, the final version of which is being actively distributed in China and will soon be available in other countries of the world.

HarmonyOS has been in development for the past 5 years, with Huawei spending millions of dollars developing it before presenting the operating system at Huawei Developer Conference 2019. Last year, HarmonyOS 2.0 was introduced for mobile devices. Beta testing started in December 2020, and at the beginning of this month, the first users began to receive the final version.

In less than a week, HarmonyOS 2.0 has already been installed on 10 million smartphones in China – and the transition from Android and EMUI 11 to HarmonyOS 2.0 happens as a regular firmware update. And, as it turned out, HarmonyOS 2.0 takes up much less space than EMUI 11. Also yesterday we posted a video in which iOS 15 and HarmonyOS 2.0 were compared in terms of speed and smoothness.

Wang Chenglu, President of Huawei Consumer Business Group’s Software Development Department, said 360 million smartphones, tablets and IoT devices will be running the new Harmony OS 2.0 operating system by the end of the calendar year.
