Xiaomi Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro smartphones declassified: they are completely different from Xiaomi Mi 11

A few days ago, Xiaomi introduced the Redmi K40 series smartphones in China, which went on sale today. Soon thereafter, reports began to surface that these devices would be released under the Poco brand in the global market. Now it became known that in some regions of the world, including India, new items will be released under the Xiaomi brand.

A senior member of the XDA Developers forum under the nickname kacskrz in the code of the new beta version of MIUI 12 found evidence that the Xiaomi Mi 11X smartphone has the model number M2012K11AI. In addition, the smartphone is codenamed aliothin. This is fully consistent with the model number and codename of the Redmi K40 smartphone.

More precisely, the Chinese Redmi K40 is codenamed alioth, and the in at the end indicates that this is the Indian version of the smartphone. Similarly, another code confirms that the Redmi K40 Pro will be launched in India under the name Xiaomi Mi 11X Pro.

The Redmi K40 Pro + smartphone is codenamed haydn, while it became known that the Xiaomi Mi11i was codenamed haydn_pro_global. This indicates that the Redmi K40 Pro + will be released under the name Xiaomi Mi11i in the rest of the world, not India.

It remains to wait for the official information.
