Tokina lenses release plan updated

Tokina has published an updated lens release schedule for 2021-2022. Since the previous graphics update in June 2020, the atx-i 11-20mm F2.8 CF wide-angle zoom lens, atx-m 23mm F1.4 X and atx-m 33mm F1.4 X prime lenses have been released for cameras Fujifilm X and 400mm F8 Reflex MF full frame mirror lens. The latter is available in six versions with different mountings.

Noting that it had to deal with an unstable supply of materials and electronic components, the Japanese manufacturer changed the schedule for the release of some models and added three new models to it.

It is an ultra-wide-angle prime lens for APS-C cameras, a standard prime lens for APS-C cameras, and a 500mm f / 8.0 full frame mirror lens. All of them will be released this winter.

As for the postponement, the 56mm F1.4 X model for Fujifilm X cameras has been postponed from spring to summer, and the 23mm F1.4 E, 33mm F1.4 E and 56mm F1.4 E models have been released from summer to autumn. APS-C format for cameras with Sony E mount.

Three wide-angle lenses are slated for release in 2022: one full-frame prime lens and two APS-C zoom lenses. The manufacturer has not yet named their characteristics.
