Google has partnered with Samsung to create a new smartwatch operating system that combines elements of Wear OS and Tizen. The new operating system is expected to debut in the Galaxy Watch 4. Now, Google has begun rolling out an update that redesigns the Google Play store on smartwatches running Wear OS 3.0.

The new interface was shared by a Reddit user with Suunto 7, who posted screenshots showing the differences between the old and the new interface.

Application icons have become round and smaller, and the font size has been reduced. This allows more useful information to be displayed in the same scenarios. The background of the search icon has been changed from green to white.

The Google Play Store for Wear OS devices was last redesigned at the end of 2019. Google is currently sending out selective updates. If no critical errors are found, then all users will receive the update.
