While Intel is just fine-tuning its Core 12 processors (known as Alder Lake) with support for DDR5 RAM, the Chinese company Asgard has already introduced the first RAM module for them.

The novelty is marked as VMA5AUK-MMH224W3. This is a 64GB DDR5-4800MHz memory module. Its creators have confirmed that there will also be options for a different volume – 32 and 128 GB. The nominal voltage is 1.1 V, which is slightly less than that of DDR4 memory (1.2 V). Timings are regulated by the JEDEC B standard – 40-40-40.

Asgard is set to begin mass production of DDR5 memory at the same time as the launch of Alder Lake processors. According to rumors, the CPU will be officially presented in September, and they will go on sale in the fourth quarter of this year.
