TCL has unveiled a new gaming monitor that is the world’s first in a specific set of parameters.

The company claims it is the world’s first 34-inch ultrawide monitor with a 1000m radius of curvature and 165Hz frame rate. The aspect ratio in this case is 21: 9, and the resolution is 3440 x 1440 pixels.

At the moment, most monitors on the market have a curvature radius of 1800 or 1500 mm, that is, the new product is curved much more strongly.

It is worth noting that the source says that TCL has shipped this 34-inch screen to Samsung, and the monitor is expected to be on sale later this month. Most likely, we are talking about the fact that TCL began to supply Samsung with the same panels that it uses for its monitor described above. But there is a possibility that TCL will not release any monitor itself, and it is the panels that the company supplies to Samsung that are meant. And already Samsung will release the monitor described above.
