The solution to the problem with disconnected USB ports on AMD boards is already here. MSI and ASRock Release Corresponding BIOS Updates

A couple of weeks ago, it became known that AMD has solved the problem with disconnecting USB ports on motherboards with 500 series chipsets.

However, it took time for the corresponding changes to be implemented in the new BIOS versions, and those, in turn, reached the users.

And so, today motherboard manufacturers have begun releasing the corresponding AGESA 1.2.0.1 firmware, which solves the problem with USB ports, and at the same time improves the compatibility of the boards with the Ryzen 5000 CPU.

At the moment, patches have been released by MSI and ASRock. Other manufacturers can either follow their competitors, or wait for the April firmware AGESA 1.2.0.2, since initially the solution to the problem should have been implemented in its composition.
