Yesterday, the test results of iPhone 12 smartphones based on the latest Apple A14 Bionic SoC hit the Internet. And in the AnTuTu benchmark, the results of the new platform were not surprising – it scored about 570,000 points, which is less than many smartphones equipped with SoC Snapdragon 865/865 +.

However, the A14 Bionic is clearly capable of more. A similar test of the iPad Air, based on the same platform, shows a different result – about 660,000 points. And this is more than almost any Android smartphone at the moment. Although in general, this is still comparable to the record results of the Snapdragon 865/865 +.

If we talk about the difference between the new tablet and the Apple smartphone, the main performance gain in the benchmark comes from the GPU. Probably, in the new iPad, it works at a noticeably higher frequency. There is also an increase in CPU and memory.
