The first information about the Sony FX3 Cinema Line (ILME-FX3) mirrorless camera focused on video has appeared on the Internet. In particular, images of the device have been published.

If the images are correct, the FX3 will be Sony’s smallest camcorder ever. Outwardly, the novelty resembles a6000 series cameras. The similarity is especially evident in the front view. The top panel displays orientation for video recording, since the recording start button is placed under the index finger. Also visible on the top panel are standard tripod sockets for attaching additional equipment.

A full-height air vent is also visible on the left side of the case. Given the small size of the case, it is highly probable that there is a fan to prevent overheating of the device.

According to the thematic site Sony Alpha Rumors, the camera will allow you to shoot 4K video at a frame rate of 120 fps, there will be a CFexpress Type A slot for removable media, and the price of the camera will be 3795 euros.
