Microsoft has released an urgent update to Windows 10

Microsoft has released an extraordinary update to the Windows 10 operating system.

It fixes an issue resulting from the March Patch Tuesday update. Windows 10 Automatic Security Update KB5000802 for some users downloads and installs by itself without asking for additional permission. And, having installed automatically, brings the PC to the “Blue Screen of Death” when trying to print documents on printers from Kyocera, Ricoh, Zebra and some other brands.

Over the weekend, Microsoft released a guide explaining how to get around the blue screen of death when printing documents. However, this solution was not straightforward and does not fix the root of the problem.

KB5001567 is now available for Windows 10 versions 20H2 (October 2020 Update) and 2004 (May 2020 Update) via Windows Update, which should fix all printer problems resulting from KB5000802. In addition to printer problems, some users have had problems with printing software solutions in LibreOffice, Notepad, and even Print to PDF.
