Instagram users heard: now it will be possible to fill the feed from a PC

Facebook has confirmed rumors that it is testing the ability to post to the social network Instagram directly from a web browser from a computer. So far, the PC can only view the feed.

In May, the first images of the web-based Instagram posting tools appeared, demonstrating the ability to drag and drop photos and videos from the desktop to upload, as well as options for cropping content, applying filters and accompanying materials for posting to feeds.

There have been no official comments on what looked like early internal testing of this feature. However, after another series of images provided by social media consultant Matt Navarra, Facebook has publicly confirmed in an interview with Bloomberg that the feature is indeed in development.

We know that many people access Instagram from their computers. To improve this experience, we are currently testing the ability to create Instagram feed posts directly in a browser on a PC.
