As we learned the other day, AMD processors for socket AM5 will receive the LGA1718 version, that is, they will lose contact pins, which will be transferred to the motherboard.

According to new data, the generation of Raphael processors in question will be characterized by a maximum TDP of 120 watts, but there will be some special model with an indicator of 170 watts. Apparently, this is a very overclocked processor.

The source also says that the new AMD CPUs will not have DDR4 support – only DDR5. For comparison: Intel Alder Lake will support both types of memory. The new Ryzen processors will have 28 PCIe lanes versus the current 24.

The Raphael processors are expected to ship as part of the Ryzen 7000 lineup late next year.
