Honor’s first tablet goes on sale after separation from Huawei

Independent company Honor has announced the launch of its first tablet after the separation from Huawei, which is called the Honor Pad 7.

The Honor Pad 7 has a 10.1-inch Full HD display, which occupies 80% of the body area. The display of the device is TUV Rheinland certified and protected against the blue part of the light spectrum.

In this model, the company offers split-screen support for four different applications. This allows users to run and use different applications at the same time. Inside the Honor Pad 7, the MediaTek Helio G80 single-chip system is installed, which is a major change compared to its predecessor, which was built on the basis of the HiSilicon Kirin 710A SoC. The tablet runs Android 10 out of the box.

The Honor Pad 7 version, which is only equipped with a Wi-Fi module, comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of flash storage, as well as 4/128 GB of storage. These versions are priced at $ 215 and $ 261, respectively. There are also versions with LTE support, which cost $ 246 for 4/64 GB and $ 292 for 4/128 GB of storage.

Update: The manufacturer confirmed that Honor Tablet 7 sales topped 10,000 units in 4 minutes.
