Xiaomi has begun distributing a stable version of the MIUI 12 proprietary shell based on the fresh Android 11 operating system for its last year’s flagship Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra comes pre-loaded with MIUI 12 based on Android 10. The MIUI 12.5 open beta is already underway. In the meantime, MIUI 12 with Android 11 has become available to users, which has been tested since November 2020.

The firmware number MIUI 12.1.1.0 RJJCNXM is available to a limited number of Chinese users. When the manufacturer is satisfied that there are no major disruptions, the coverage will expand. The transition to stable MIUI 12.5 can be expected no earlier than April 2021.

The flagship Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra debuted in August 2020. It topped DxOMark’s Best Camera Phones for several months before being surpassed by the Huawei Mate 40 Pro and Huawei Mate 40 Pro +. In Russia, Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra is not officially on sale.
