During a press conference with the participation of SpaceX and the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the data of the Starlink satellite Internet subscriber base were announced. The service is reported to be currently used by 90,000 people.

Back in late June, Elon Musk reported that Starlink had 69,420 active users. It turns out that in just one month the number of Starlink subscribers increased by 20,000 people. At the moment, the service is available for use in 12 countries around the world.

SpaceX is the largest provider of Internet access via satellites and related equipment. The orbital group of the company is constantly expanding and now has more than 1,700 vehicles. However, in some locations, SpaceX will install ground stations as well. In particular, three of these will be deployed in the UK.
