Corsair HS60 Haptic Gaming Headset complements low-frequency sounds with haptic feedback

Corsair has announced the HS60 Haptic headset. Its hallmark is called “deeper and more powerful sound”, which is achieved using technology Taction Technology. The essence of this technology is to supplement low-frequency sounds with tactile effects. This allegedly allows sounds such as explosive rumble or machine hum to be more fully conveyed, enhancing the gaming experience.

The headset uses 50mm drivers. The range of reproducible frequencies is declared equal to 20-20,000 Hz. The unidirectional noise-canceling microphone is detachable. Its frequency response is 100-10,000 Hz. The ear cushions are filled with memory foam for increased comfort. A 1.8 m long USB cable is used to connect to a PC. A camouflage pattern is used in the exterior design.
