As new in the ASRock Rack catalog, ASRock’s server subsidiary, there is a motherboard that supports AMD EPYC 7002 processors up to 64-cores in SP3 or LGA4094 socket. For the ROMED4ID-2T board, a new proprietary form factor Deep mini-ITX was chosen, which is only slightly larger than the standard mini-ITX size – 170 x 208 mm versus 170 x 170 mm.

The board has four DDR4 DIMM slots. Supports R-DIMMs up to 64 GB, LR-DIMMs up to 256 GB, and NV-DIMMs. The maximum frequency is DDR4-3200. Expansion options are provided by a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot. In addition, there is an M.2 2280 slot, which brings PCIe 4.0 x4 and SATA interfaces. You can use two Slimline ports (PCIe 4.0 x8 or 8 SATA 6 Gb / s each) and four Slimline ports (PCIe 4.0 x8 each) to connect U.2 drives. The board’s equipment includes an Intel X550-AT2 controller with two 10 GbE ports, a Realtek RTL8211E controller for IPMI GLAN and an ASPEED AST2500 controller, as well as two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, a COM port, and a VGA video output.
