Apple allowed the return of purchased and donated iPhones, iPads, Macs and Apple Watch until January 8, 2021

Apple today updated its Holidays Return Policy to extend the time that holiday gifts and purchases can be returned.

Items purchased from the US online Apple Store and received between November 10 and December 25, 2020, may be returned to Apple by January 8, 2021.

These dates apply in the United States, but Apple is also extending return periods in other countries. The time available for returns may vary by country, so it is worth checking the region-specific return policy before purchasing Apple as a gift.

Some products are not eligible for return policies, such as Apple and App Store gift cards, but you can return your iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and store accessories if you wish. Purchased devices can be opened and used before being returned, but must be in their original packaging.

Purchases received before November 10, 2020 or after December 25, 2020 are subject to our standard return policy, meaning they can be returned within 14 days.
