Adobe Flash Player received the last update of its life

Adobe has released the latest update for Flash Player. The company announced the upcoming end of support for Flash back in the summer of 2017 and the technology did not last long.

The final scheduled Flash Player update is available today for all regions outside of mainland China. Adobe reiterated today that Flash Player support will continue until December 31, 2020.

After January 12, 2021, Adobe itself will begin blocking Flash content from playing in Flash Player, so that users will not be able to access it.

On major platforms and browsers, Flash support has either ended or is being worked on in this direction. Nevertheless, the legacy of Flash will be preserved for future generations. The project was undertaken by the non-profit organization Internet Archive. As a result, popular Flash games and animations can be found on the Internet Archive.
