7.2 GHz is a new record for overclocking DDR4 memory. And here again the Intel processor was noted

In early April, the MSI overclocking team set a record for overclocking DDR4 memory – they obeyed the frequency of 7156 MHz, and it was installed using a motherboard based on an Intel Z590 chipset and an Intel Core i9-11900KF processor. Now the same team used the same processor to improve the record a little more.

This time, the MSI OC Team got the DDR4 memory working at 7200 MHz. The stand used one 8 GB Kingston KHX4600C19D4 module and an MSI MEG Z590 UNIFY-X motherboard. Nothing is said about the cooling system, but there is no doubt that liquid nitrogen was used – a similar system was used for overclocking last time.
